Scuba Tune-Up / Scuba Review

 

Has it been a while since your last dives? Maintain good diving skills with a SCUBA Tune Up. Our instructors have the experience and knowledge to help you sharpen your skills as a diver. Don't let fear and anxiety keep you out of the water. You will regain that confidence and skills you worked hard at during your Open Water Class. Includes equipment & 2 tank boat dives.

 

Open to all divers who have completed the confined water training of a basic open water course.

 

Want get started before you arrive on your vacation. Sign up with the PADI E-Learning course. Register with St. Thomas Dive Center, store #1060 and complete your training when you arrive in St. Thomas on your vacation.

 

What you will learn and what your day will entail:

You will go over  the scuba knowledge you learned during your initial training. Then,

practice fundamental skills in a pool or a confined water area. Your review will include:

 

• Safe diving practices

• Dive planning fundamentals

• Problem management

• Breathing air at depth

• Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge

• Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning

 

Next you will review the basic diving skills in the pool with your instructor and at the end of this confined water session, you will feel more comfortable and confident and will be able to go diving off the boat that afternoon with your instructor.
